We check the same things the inspector checks, fix the small stuff on the spot and, if you like, take the car to the test station for you and bring it back with the sticker.

What we check

LightsEvery lamp, indicators, number-plate light and headlight aim with the beam tester.
TyresMinimum 1.6 mm tread, pressure, manufacture date, cracks and cuts.
BrakesEfficiency and balance on the roller bench, handbrake, hose condition.
EmissionsGas or smoke test depending on fuel; if the car is borderline, we tell you first.
Body and cabinGlass, wiper blades, horn, seat belts, mirrors, steering play.
PaperworkRegistration document, road tax and insurance in force.

If something won't pass

We tell you before we go. Bulbs, wiper blades and small adjustments get fixed on the spot and charged separately, always with your yes. Bigger things get quoted and you decide. If the test still comes back unfavourable, the second check is on us.

Questions we get asked

When should I do the pre-check?

One to two weeks before the appointment. That leaves room to order a part if needed.

Can you book the inspection for me?

Yes. Tell us your preferred day and we book it at the Vélez-Málaga station.

What if I've already failed?

Bring the report. We fix exactly what's listed and go with you to the re-test.
