What it's like
The corner room: two wooden doors that open onto the balcony and a side window towards the village. The linen curtain filters the morning light, which comes in early and head-on here. The balcony has room for exactly two chairs and a small table, and coffee out there at nine is the best half hour of the day.

Good to know
First floor, no lift, fourteen steps. In a strong easterly the balcony gets wet; it's part of the charm. Light comes in at dawn: if you like sleeping in the dark, the blackout curtain is behind the linen one.

Can you really hear the sea?
Yes. With the door closed, as a murmur; open, as if you were on the rocks. Most people sleep with the door open and the screen shut.
Is there shade on the balcony?
Not in the morning; from 14:00 yes. Which is why coffee is at nine and wine at eight.
Can a third person be added?
No, the room is for two. For three, the Azahar Suite.
