What it's like
Whitewashed walls, a fired-clay floor that stays cool in August and a wooden window with a mosquito screen onto the courtyard. The bed is high, with a pocket-sprung mattress and 300-thread cotton sheets; you can ask for down or fibre pillows. No television, but a good reading lamp and a small shelf of books about the Axarquía.

The house has no lift; this room is on the ground floor and is the one we recommend if stairs are a problem. Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00. If you're arriving late, leave the time in your enquiry and we'll wait for you.

Frequently asked
Can you hear the courtyard at night?
No. The courtyard closes at 23:00 and at night you only hear the fountain, very softly. It's the quietest room.
Does a cot fit?
Yes, at no charge. Say so in the enquiry and we'll have it set up.
Are dogs allowed?
In this room yes, small or medium dogs, €15 per stay. They get a bed and a bowl.
